Quickstart

Sign in, connect GitHub, link a repository to a project and run your first LaunchSafe code scan.

Edit on GitHub

Open app.launchsafe.com and sign in with an email code, Google or GitHub. There are no passwords. See create an account.

Answer the first-run questions

Signing up creates your personal organization and opens a short first run. You can skip any step.

Connect GitHub

In the first run, or under Integrations, connect GitHub by installing the LaunchSafe GitHub App. It asks for read access first. See GitHub.

Link a repository to a project

Open Projects, create a project for your app, and link a repository to it. See add a repository.

Get a quote and start a scan (when scans open)

Go to Scans → New scan, pick the project and repository, and choose a depth: quick, standard or deep. You see the price in credits first. Start the scan when you are happy with it. See run your first scan.

Read the results

Findings appear under Findings and on the project. See understanding results.

Not available yet

Repository scans for your organization are not open yet. Testing a live URL is not open yet, and code can only be scanned from GitHub. GitLab and Bitbucket connect but cannot be scanned yet.
