Run Your First Scan
Start a LaunchSafe code scan of a GitHub repository: choose a depth, see the price first, and follow it to the end.
You need a project with a linked GitHub repository. See add a repository.
Open New scan
Go to Scans → New scan.
Choose what to scan
Pick the project and the code (the repository).
Choose a depth
| Depth | The longest a scan runs |
|---|---|
| Quick | 60 minutes |
| Standard | 6 hours |
| Deep | 24 hours |
Read the quote
LaunchSafe sizes your repository and shows the cost in credits before anything starts. A scan is held to its quote: it is never charged more, and is charged less if it uses less.
Start the scan
The scan starts only when you start it. Scans do not start automatically after payment or after linking a repository.
While it runs
The scan's page shows its state and what it covers. You can cancel a running scan. When it ends, LaunchSafe turns the results into findings. A scan that could not cover everything says what it left out.
You can also request an email when your scans finish. See Settings → Notifications.
Limits
Your plan sets the scan credits a month and how many scans run at once. See plans. Testing a live URL is not open yet either.
